LITTLE ACORNS CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER REVIEWS

My daughter has been here since an infant. As a first time parent, adjusting to having my child away from me was really hard but this center helped facilitate a smooth transition. I love the real time updates on the app. I enjoy getting pictures of her throughout the day. LA isn’t just a daycare, my baby learns through songs and play, does art work and loves story time. The staff is friendly and caring towards the children. The director is available for questions, concerns, and suggestions. The building is secure. The guards are friendly. 10/10.

My daughter has attended Little Acorns for almost 3 years & my son 1 1/2 years. I have been very happy with their care! The owner is always available when you need her and is at the daycare daily. Which I really appreciate. She also takes calls after hours if you have any concerns and always addresses any issues immediately. Previous owners I would only see once every 6 months or so. There are also so many teachers that have been there long term, they are absolutely wonderful! Classrooms are a great size physically and number of children in each room are much lower than normal daycares. Toys and play areas are amazing including playground! Fully guarded since it is in the federal building. Which is a huge plus! We love Little Acorns.

My wife and I moved our son to Little Acorns after his daycare closed abruptly earlier this year. Like any parent, we were anxious and scared to send our child to daycare. Candace and her staff have been nothing shy of amazing. Thankfully, many teachers where we sent our son moved with us to Little Acorns. Our son loves his teacher, TeRonda. She is AMAZING! Given the daycare's location in downtown Jackson, we had initial concerns about safety. On our first visit, we realized safety would not be an issue. The armed security, designated drop-off area, and lockdown unit actually felt safer than our previous daycare. 10/10 would recommend.

MISSION FIRST EARLY LEARNING CENTER REVIEWS

My daughter LOVES it here and wants to live at school! She’s an only child so after school is a way for her to have more time with her friends. We did summer camp here last summer and it went great. 10/10 highly recommend the school, after school and summer camp. We are sad to leave and wish they had 1st grade. We have had 0 problems with anything. Everyone is so nice and kind. It’s organized and consistent. The facility is very well kept. Everything is top tier. This is THE BEST decision I’ve made when it comes to where I put my girl in school. I really like that it is gated and there is ALWAYS an armed police on the premises at all times. The list of things I like about this place goes on.

Mission First has been such a blessing to our little girl, and our whole family. The head of school, Mrs. Jenny, is just such a treat. And her teachers are phenomenal! They love their students and pour into them beyond anything I’ve ever witnessed in a school. If I could send my kids here through 12th grade, I absolutely would. We love mission first and everything they have to offer.

We were searching for a play-based learning environment and decided to visit Mission First Early Learning Center. I was amazed with the facility, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, the classroom layout (there is a treehouse in one of the classrooms, a must see!), nurturing staff, teacher and teacher assistant in each classroom, onsite police, and extracurricular activities (music, art, etc.). Now let's talk about Jesus. I sensed his presence from the moment I met the principal, Jenny Blount. I knew she had a relationship with him, and I could see it in the staff as well. It's a loving, caring, nurturing environment that really helps develop the whole child. My child has grown spiritually, through the scriptures, weekly chapel, and having biblical based teaching woven within the lesson plans. In addition, we appreciate the teaching of science, Black History, and so much more. There are so many great things to say about Missions First Early Learning Center. You have to request a tour and come see this place for yourself. I don't have the words to describe it all even though I tried! My child wakes up every morning excited to go to school. It's a wonderful feeling as a parent. We are Extremely Grateful.
