3 Best Primary Care Physicians in Aurora, IL

I find Dr. Vaikutis a very knowledgeable and dedicated physician who cares about his patients. He is my husband's doctor and I frequently attend appointments with him. Recently he provided immediate medical services for my brother who had been hospitalized in another state and returned to Illinois for services. Dr. Vaikutis clearly explained previous medical records, prescriptions, and made appropriate referrals. I have never had a problem with him or the staff members.

Dr. Vaikutis takes the time to ask questions. He doesn't rush and half-listen like so many other doctors do. Other doctors have made me feel like I'm wasting their time and they need to get to the next patient. He takes my health seriously and I appreciate it greatly!.

Every “ routine “ visit is carefully reviewed. Sick visits are detailed and complete in diagnosis AND explanation for follow updates. Prompt considerate caring attention!.

My family has been seeing Dr. Milani since 1999. I highly recommend him. He listens and takes time with you at each appointment, you never feel rushed. I have valued his knowledge and opinions on diagnoses, treatments, and vaccinations. He has a kind, fun personality which is great with kids! He also has an excellent nurse practitioner, so if you can't get an appointment with him, she is usually available.

Not only is he my son's doctor, but I am a nurse and have worked with him in the hospital and he is VERY good! As a nurse - we know which doctors are excellent, and if I trust him with my son's care, then you can believe he is competent. He is extremely knowledgeable and very caring with his patients. He comes in to see his patients at 5am when they're in the hospital, before his office hours, and spends a lot of time sitting down and talking to them, instead of running in and out of the rooms like some doctors do. He knows everything that is going on with his patients, and multiple times has caught things that other doctors wouldn't have. I don't typically write reviews unless I feel strongly one way or the other, and since I saw the other review, I felt the need to disagree. He listens to his patients better than most physicians - both what they say verbally and non-verbally, and if he requested a drug test on a patient, it's because it was necessary. I have since moved on to work at other hospitals, but Dr Milani is still one of my favorites, which is why I drive my son the hour distance to keep him as our doctor.

Our entire family has been treated by Dr. Milani for years. He always takes the time to answer all questions and does not hesitate to refer to a specialist if the problem requires it. We love Dr. Milani!.
