Hurricane Helene was devastating, and the damage to my home left me feeling helpless. I'm so thankful I worked with Jaron from Augusta Rental Homes in the aftermath. From the very first call, he was empathetic and understanding of my situation. The ARH team quickly assessed the damage, provided a clear plan for repairs, and kept me updated every step of the way. The trees were off of my home and tarps were up within 48 hours of the storm hitting. If you were in the CSRA during Hurricane Helene then you understand how phenomenal that is. Every member of their crew was professional and efficient, and the quality of their work was exceptional. They went above and beyond to not only repair the external and internal damage to my home, but also ensure everything was done to a high standard. I feel secure and comfortable in my home again, and I owe a huge thanks to Jaron and Augusta Rental Homes for their outstanding service during such a challenging time. They truly made a difference and I recommend them without reservation.

Miranda at Augusta Rentals was very helpful and found me and my fiance a house the same day after the house we planned on renting was taken before we could fill out the loan application. She very nice and informative once she had information about other properties. Within a couple hours she had all the documentation completed!! I am new to working with Augusta Rental Homes, but life’s circumstances have made it imperative that I turn over a family real estate management business to a professional management company . This was a scary step for me, giving up control, but I can not express more my satisfaction in working with this young, growing, dynamic group of young professionals. They have instilled such confidence that I have made the right decision for my family and me. Among those with whom I have worked closely are Jaron Bergeron and McKennon Kohan. Jaron is the leader of the team who is “hands” on in every aspect of the rental and management process. He knows exactly what his team is doing every step of the way, and he is present at most of the meetings that I attend regarding my properties. He has also been a tremendous resource person for me, suggesting individuals within the community who can help this transition along the way. One of the things that impressed me the most was that he gave my husband, who is ill and in a nursing home, his time, and the courtesy of meeting with him in the nursing home, so that my husband who started this company about 35 years ago, had the opportunity to ask questions, and discuss philosophies regarding this business, so that he felt a part of the process. McKennon Kohan is my “go to “ person, who keeps me informed, so that I can be as involved as I care to be in the rental and maintenance of my property. He lets me know immediately about any repairs, or lack of rent payments, or dispossess procedures taken, or houses becoming vacant, or houses about to be considered for new leases , etc. We have always worked closely with the Augusta Housing Authority, and McKennon is very well aware of what the guidelines and requirements are as set by the section 8 housing program. He is doing a remarkable job in my opinion, having been involved in the above activities myself while trying to keep the business afloat. My hat is off to him! He is always so calm, cheerful and even-tempered…never frazzled, as I always felt! It is indeed a daunting task keeping these houses in marketable condition and getting them and keeping them rented!
