He is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Latif Ziyar is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association. He uses the bio-psycho-social model of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. He works with patients ages seven and older who live with a broad scope of mental health conditions, from anxiety and depression to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and substance abuse. Dr. Latif Ziyar specializes in the treatment of general psychiatric conditions and chemical dependency, particularly opioid treatment and detoxification using Suboxone (Buprenorphine/Naloxone) and Subutex (Buprenorphine).
