She completed her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Counseling Psychology program (APA-accredited). Dr. Camie Nitzel has expert knowledge in counseling related to depression and anxiety management, gender identity and transgender health, sexual identity development, trauma recovery, and resilience. She offers WPATH-aligned assessments for hormone and surgical evaluations for transgender and gender-diverse individuals.
