Dr. Torquato began seeing me at a point in my life where I was not able to function. I couldn't leave the house. I couldn't breathe even. Since I had seen so many different doctors I found it very hard to open up. Within my few first sessions with Dr. Torquato I opened up and my walls slowly came down. I have progressed so far. She has seen me through the times in my life with such a care and lust for life it helped me continue. I thank her more than she can imagine. From the nonfunctional depressed person unable to move to moving to the other side of the country ready to take on the world. But I just wish she had duplicates. I will forever have a place for her in my heart and thank her for holding me up and helping me understand why I am how I am, but most of all how to deal with it.

Dr. Torquato is a god-send. After years of trying to get the Simi school system to help my daughter, Dr. Torquato did a psychoeducational evaluation and came with me to the school meetings to advocate for her needs. Just her presence changes the entire dynamic and the school system suddenly takes you seriously.
