I came to Dr. Galicia long before this particular incident where she treated me very successfully with facet injections for low back pain. More recently I was experiencing headaches that were positional and improved when I lay down for over 3 weeks. She referred me to get an x-ray. As soon as she received the results, she contacted and told me that I had I slipped vertebrae at C4 but more importantly that it was moving forward and backwards. She alerted me to this issue and went above and beyond to connect me to a neurosurgeon and got me in immediately for a visit. That action on her part likely saved my life at a minimum, saved me from becoming paralyzed. C4 was slipping forward and backward and I was running the risk of snapping my spinal cord and didn't even know it. Had a epidural injection every thing was handled so professionally. The surgical center was very pleasant, clean and the nurses were very very helpful. Doctor was very pleasant as well as explaining everything.

I've been going to Southwest Pain Management for over 10 years. They've been nothing but professional, kind, friendly, and understanding. If you say something hurts, they never dismiss it or rush you out. If you go to get trigger point injections or others, they're always quick and will always use something to help numb the area so it doesn't hurt as much. Very important to anyone with pain, they're never heavy-handed with the injections or exams. I would recommend anyone who needs a doctor who doesn't dismiss them, or their pain, to come see Dr. Morgan and his associates at Southwest Pain Management. One other thing I like is that if they hurt you accidentally during an exam, like pushing a little too hard or finding a tender spot, they always apologize!

I was referred by my PCP. Dr Morgan is a board certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management certified Doctor. I’ve suffered for years with bulging disks, hip bursitis and torn meniscus. Pain is sometimes debilitating. In California only a Doctor such as Dr. Morgan can prescribe medication for chronic pain on an ongoing basis. I’ve been working with Bridget, Pain Management NP under the doctor and she’s been amazing. A family friend Pharmacist told me her treatment plan was both safe and reasonable. I’ve been wearing a transdermal pain patch which has truly been a game changer. It’s taken the severity of the pain away and made it manageable. I’ve always had a good experience in the office. Ebony up front and the other staff are always nice and I’ve never had to wait for an appointment. Additionally I’ve never encountered more than 2 people total in the waiting room. I have regular telephone follow ups monthly to see how I’m doing in between office visits. I’m doing so much better! What I say to any potential patients (or unhappy ones) is acquaint yourself with California laws. You must have a diagnosis confirmed with multiple imaging (MRI, X-RAY or CT Scan) along with reports.
