2026 Update: Alton Baker Park features a large natural area known as Whilamut Natural Area, where visitors can explore wetlands, wildlife habitats, and quiet riverside spaces away from the busier recreation zones. Another standout feature is the park’s connection to entertainment and community events through the nearby Cuthbert Amphitheater, which regularly hosts concerts, festivals, and outdoor gatherings. ALTON BAKER PARK REVIEWS

Beautiful park nestled in the city of Eugene. It hides a fantastic little amphitheatre that hosts AMAZING intimate performances by well known musical artists.

This is one of my favorite parks to go to in Eugene. Love watching the water and the Ducks, this is also a place I can go fishing in the middle of town.

Great place to chill, enjoy the nature, leisure walks, and see ducks! Had a great time just watching ducks and geese eat food and swim. Big parking space! Toilet doesn't have doors though but there's single porta potty too.

SKINNER BUTTE PARK REVIEWS

This is one of the best parks in Eugene. It has beautiful huge landscapes, kids playground, a clean restroom and a great city view spot. The great thing here is a huge parking lot. I saw many people came for running, biking, and chilling. What a great place to relax your mind. I would love to visit this park again in the future .

First place i came to in Eugene after getting off the bus. Great park. Some uphill hiking. A super cool little rock climbing area. The area by the river is so beautiful! Nice playground. Good spots to take a dip in the Willamette. Good views. I like this park. People in Eugene are friendly as well. Pretty cool spot.

Such a beautiful park with a paved walking path. An incredible playground and restrooms located next to the playground. The playground includes a swing set, sand box and a ton of other activities for kids young and older. Plenty of parking.

AMAZON PARK REVIEWS

There's something for everyone at Amazon. They have a large dog park area with a circular trail and a covered area in the middle. Adjacent is a park for smaller dogs with a covered area. A long trail runs through the park that connects to other local trails. There is an outdoor exercise area adjacent to the trail. They have a newer playground with musical instruments, a fort, a fire engine , elevated walks and secure swings. In the summer the outdoor pool is open and it is fantastic! Also they have a community building for plays and special events. Restrooms near playground.

One of my top Parks in the Eugene area. The playground is open concept with faux turf so there is cushion to the falls. A huge play structure (little friendly) and a separate one for bigger kiddos. My kids call it the Dinosaur park for the huge one that resides there. Kids love climbing on it! Connected to many running/cycling/walking trails. You can bike around as well.

The whole family enjoyed this park! A great variety of play equipment for all different ages of children. I really appreciated the turf grass so toddler could walk around without getting bark dust on his feet. Nice picnic tables. We walked some of the trails. Our stroller didn't like when the pavement ended and turned to gravel on the trails though. Wonderful park to play at.
