SPLASH! AT LIVELY PARK REVIEWS
We had a blast today, as always! Staff are attentive and friendly! My kids love the wave pool the most and life jackets are provided, which I appreciate! I definitely recommend this indoor pool!
Great place!!! My husband and I took our daughter the day before yesterday (August 10th), for our daughter’s 4th birthday. It wasn’t too crowded, the wave pool and water slide are awesome! Love it!
I just want to say they were open during the winter break, and it was so appreciated... Also, very friendly staff. I know it's tough times to keep things going, and this place is awesome.

Willakenzie Park, occupying an expanse of 4.75 acres, stands as a charming neighborhood park nestled in Eugene's Harlow neighborhood. This park holds historical significance, as it is located on the grounds of the venerable Willakenzie School site. The land's historical journey dates back to 1854, when it became home to the first of four schools that would grace its terrain over the subsequent 150 years. During the period spanning from 1871 to 1883, the Willakenzie area held a pivotal role as a thriving agricultural center. It was responsible for the bountiful production of grains, fruits, and vegetables, serving as a vital source of sustenance for the surrounding community. Notably, the Willakenzie Grange building, a structure that still stands today, was erected in 1913. This edifice served as the epicenter for both social and economic activities within the local farming community. Recently, this building has gained recognition as a designated City of Eugene Historic Landmark. Willakenzie Park, while steeped in history, also offers a range of modern amenities. It features a delightful children's playground, complete with a sand and water play area. Picnic tables dot the landscape, providing a pleasant setting for outdoor dining and gatherings. Encircling the park's perimeter is a versatile multi-use path catering to various recreational pursuits. With its rich historical background and contemporary amenities, Willakenzie Park stands as an ideal destination for leisurely activities and relaxation.

WILLAKENZIE PARK REVIEWS
I came to visit from California and my nephew took me here shoot some hoops and play on the playground. He really loves this park for all the different options for playing. Sand pit with water features, basketball hoop, large fields, a carousel, and climbing obstacles. There were lots of other kids around. Also well taken care of and clean.
Great spot with picnic tables, shaded grassy area, water feature playground/sand box, swings and even a rarely-seen "bone breaker" carousel! Nice little paved blackberry lined trail with children's book story boards. Great spot for little kids, walking dogs or flying your drone! Only drawback, No porta-potty.
Nice, open fields for ball games, dog runs, frisbee, etc. Near the play structures are a few tall trees for shade in the grass, or choose from the benches to relax while the kids play. On-street parking, with one dedicated handicap space and ramp access to park.

Creekside Park, spanning across 3.17 acres, is a neighborhood park conveniently situated in the northern part of Eugene. It can be found just one block to the west of Gilham Road, accessible via Crimson Street. The City of Eugene Parks and Open Space Division took ownership of this property in 2000 and, in collaboration with community members, successfully completed the park's development under budget in 2012. The park's design was carefully crafted to address specific needs, particularly concerning the protection of the adjacent Goal 5 riparian zone and the seasonal creek that meanders through the site. This creek area has been enhanced to create a natural meadow, contributing to the park's overall appeal. For the convenience of residents, a paved path now traverses from the northeast corner to the southwest corner of the park, serving as an accessible route for cyclists and pedestrians. This path fosters a valuable connection between the two neighboring communities. Creekside Park also features 1.1 acres of well-maintained lawn and irrigated turf, providing ample space for unstructured field activities. An entirely separate area is dedicated to sand and water play, offering children the opportunity to enjoy hours of entertainment with water play troughs and a pump, catering to those young ones who revel in hands-on, messy play.

Just a nice living community within the city limits of Eugene, Oregon. Nice houses. Higher income and retired living community. Just behind Home Depot at Green Acres, and off the Randy Pape Beltline Highway.
