RIVERSIDE PARK REVIEWS

Beautiful and serene park. Plenty of parking and picnic tables. Good for a sunny day family outing or friends picnic gathering. It’s also fun to watch people boating or rowing. The walk towards the Hartford downtown is nice too. Highly recommend.

We love going here. It's usually empty. We bring bikes and scooters, and like to ride into downtown Hartford. Sometimes we'll ride as far as Bushnell Park from Riverside Park. It's a fun little adventure with the kids.

Clean park. Plenty of parking. Easy to access water. There is walking trail to walk around the park. Portable restrooms are available. Playground is also available for family.

The park is cleaner safer environment for children at play. Giving Colt park a makeover was the ideal thing to do. Let's keep Hartford Parks clean for inner-city children to have clean play grounds.

Been coming here for years. Very big park. Lots of baseball and softball fields to play in and big enough to let your dog have some fun.

Huge park in the capital of CT. Lots of picnic tables and plenty of space to run around or enjoy the scenery.

WOLCOTT PARK REVIEWS

Wolcott Park is a fantastic recreational spot that has quickly become one of my favorite places to spend time outdoors. The park features 6 to 8 well-maintained pickleball courts, which are almost always lively with friendly players of all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, it’s a great place to jump into a game or practice your skills. In addition to pickleball, the park also has 4 full-size tennis courts that are in excellent condition. The courts are surrounded by trees and greenery, offering a peaceful and scenic backdrop while you play. The entire park is beautifully landscaped, with wide open green spaces, walking paths, and shaded areas perfect for relaxing or having a picnic. It feels safe, clean, and welcoming—ideal for families, fitness enthusiasts, or anyone just looking for a breath of fresh air. Wolcott Park is a true local treasure, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, active, and visually beautiful outdoor space.

Really nice park with a small playground and splash pad that are both fenced in so your child can’t run off. The playground is designed for younger children through early elementary. There’s a nice shady picnic area next to the playground. There are also baseball, basketball and soccer fields along with a snack bar. There are restrooms by the splash pad. There’s parking by the fields and another lot by the playground.

Absolutely beautiful park. Little League field is a show piece and the basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts are excellent. West Hartford can certainly be proud of this park.
