GRAND PARK REVIEWS
Highly recommend this park if you’re living downtown and just need a place to unwind or do some work outside or anything of that nature. I had a great time walking around after work and grabbing coffee at the starbucks. There are many fountains where families often bring their kids to play inside of. Lots of open space for a downtown picnic or just open space to lay out in the sun.
Our family recently reserved a picnic area at Gloria Molina Grand Park, and it was nothing short of perfect. The booking process was a breeze, and when we arrived, we were welcomed by clean and spacious picnic tables. The park's well-maintained facilities and the beautiful surroundings truly impressed us. It was an amazing value for the price, and our kids had a blast. We'll definitely be returning for more memorable picnics!
Expansive and beautiful park in downtown LA, lots of space that allows plenty of light in even surrounded by larger buildings. Has fountains and kids play areas, wonderful assortment of trees and plants on display. Interesting vertical design as it's built along a hill, creating a series of tiers. Very close to the Walt Disney concert hall.

KENNETH HAHN STATE RECREATION AREA REVIEWS
This park is is quite large with great scenery and a small pond. The pond is well kept and is filled with fish, turtles, and birds of all kinds. Great place to take a stroll with the family and dogs, and there are different sections you can explore and trails. Up the hillside you can get a nice view of the city. The benches were clean, some provide grills for charcoal grilling. Men's restroom I used was tidy and stocked.
Beautiful park with plenty of trees and a really nice big lake. This was a nice park to walk around and enjoy nature. There are also great overlooks of downtown LA from the park. I'd recommend spending at least a couple of hours here or maybe even bring a book and sit by the lake and relax.
A beautiful and peaceful enclave in the middle of the city. Free mid week, a great place to take the pooch after work to explore.

VISTA HERMOSA NATURAL PARK REVIEWS
Vista Hermosa Natural Park holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite spots in LA. The iconic view of downtown LA from the park is something you've likely seen in countless movies. I make it a point to visit as often as possible. The park boasts numerous beautiful spaces, ensuring you never feel crowded. Walking through, you'll encounter lovers, birthday parties, and adorable dogs, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. A word of advice: it's wise to leave the park as soon as the sun sets and darkness falls. Skunks make an appearance, and while they generally avoid people, it's a good idea not to disturb them. So, what you might mistake for kittens are, in fact, skunks. It's a natural park, and they have their place there. Just a heads up! Despite the skunk encounters, Vista Hermosa is an excellent place to spend the day. Whether you want to relax under the trees, enjoy quality time with a loved one, or have a paint party with your best friends, this park is the perfect setting. It encapsulates the quintessential LA scene you often see in movies – a true gem in the city.
