Improvements also apply to the trail entrance areas from Riverside Drive, Griffith Riverside Recreation Center, and Sunnynook Bridge."

"Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area spreads over 338 acres of parkland, including significant native coastal sage scrub habitat, a fishing lake, a community center, landscaped areas, and five miles of trails. The park has active recreation facilities, including one fishing lake, two lighted baseball diamonds, one sand volleyball court, one half basketball court, one lit multi-purpose field, and one organizational structure with a meeting room. Passive recreation includes 100 picnic tables and eight picnic rental shelters throughout the park. There are eight large barbecue pits and 60 small ones spread throughout the park. Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area features multi-use basketball courts, playing fields, walking and jogging trails, picnic areas, and playgrounds.

2026 Update: Visitors can book campsites, tours, and special events. The park hosts a free summer concert and movie series with live music, family-friendly events, and paid performance opportunities for bands at multiple park locations"
