Nice park with lots of well marked plants, wheelchair accessibility, large fountain with alert where kids can play, dog playground and coffee place
Sprawling urban park close to city hall. Pretty well maintained, lots of things to do nearby. Look online for events in the area. A nice interlude when wandering around downtown.

KENNETH HAHN STATE RECREATION AREA REVIEWS
They charge $7 for entry but it’s a great picnic park. Lots of tables, nice pond with a lots of waterfoul and ducks. The restrooms were locked by 5pm which was weird but other than that we enjoyed it. If you keep driving past the picnic spots, you will find a beautiful view of the downtown up the small hill.
It is a really nice park to take the kids with a nice variety of things to do, not to mention the great views of LA
Beautifully maintained and restrooms are cleaned and restocked daily. Parking is free on weekdays. There are geese and ducks that like to frequent the lake there, but please don't feed them. Dogs allowed.

VISTA HERMOSA NATURAL PARK REVIEWS
This is a great park to take your dog on a leash. The park isn't too big, so when there are a few other groups of people it can feel crowded. I recommend visiting during the work week if you can. Also I should mention that the ground is really soft/muddy after the morning dew and of course after a rain, so don't wear nice shoes or heals. (My friends had wedding photos here and everyone's shoes were a mess for the wedding) Picnic area: There are plenty of tables and a small green with some shade for picnics.
Vista Hermosa Natural Park opened more than a decade. It is planted with native California trees and vegetation that now have matured to the point that when you walk through this park, you can easily forget that you are so close to downtown Los Angeles with its massive high-rise buildings. Even from the highest elevations of the park, the high-rise buildings are very well out of the sightline except for a few locations. It is a peaceful place and is also restful. A great place to escape the City, if even for a few minutes or hours. This is a great little park.
Great place for taking pictures with the Hollywood sign in the back , nice park with a play ground for kids
