3 Best Amusement Parks in Los Angeles, CA

It’s Knott’s one of the best amusement parks in SoCal. I advise buying your ticket beforehand and look at purchasing a season pass as it typically pays for itself in two visits. Also if visiting regularly with a season pass look into the season food pass as well. Well worth it as food it high but well worth it with the pass if visiting a few times a year. We buy the season pass for next year usually right around, or before Black Friday, as this is usually the best prices for the whole year on season, food, and drink passes. Typically if buying at this time also allows unlimited visits for the rest of the year as well so you get more than 12 months.

Highly underrated and better than Disneyland for tourists. Disneyland is everywhere across the world but this theme park is so unique to American culture and there are a lot of props and sculptures from 100 years ago which makes this place even more interesting. Better than universal studios that I’ve been to in other countries. Haven’t been to the universal studios in USA so I can’t compare with that. If you’re a tourist and undecided on what theme park to go to just go to this one it’s the best in the region.

Best place for family fun!!! We love the rides, the market, the food, the boysenberry everything, and the unique worlds within worlds around every corner. Our kids get to have hands on experience along epic roller coasters. We love the Peanuts themes and can’t wait for the next adventure!! Plan ahead, get there earlier than you want too, and definitely get the food pass!!!

The amusement park situated along the Santa Monica waterfront is truly iconic and embodies the essence of the city itself. Visiting occasionally with my son, indulging in the various rides, and enjoying the whimsical arcade games, evokes a sense of nostalgia reminiscent of scenes from classic films. While the rides may not be the cheapest or the premier in California, the expense is justified by the sheer joy and positive atmosphere it offers for a delightful afternoon outing.

This is an absolutely iconic little amusement park in a crazy location. Located on the pier, this park has some fun rides, nothing intense really, and offers great views of the surrounding beaches, city, and ocean. It was pretty crowded when I went. I would definitely recommend checking this place out it was really cool. Kind of chaotic but cool.

This is a great place to bring the family or a trip with friends. Great date night place. Parking is only $7 and isn't limited on time. There's plenty of places to eat on the pier and off. We chose the burger shack on the pier. Good burgers and ice cream.
