Independence Park is an urban public park with over 12.69 acres of parkland. The park has three official soccer groups in the Ironbound, representing over 750 players and 42 teams. The Olmsted designed place serves the neighborhood with basketball courts, athletic fields, walking paths, and a playground. Bandstand, senior citizen center, and gazebo are available.
