LIT 21 in Newark is one to NOT miss out on! You enter a space that has a buzz, but is at the same time both classy and party-like. They cook good food — everything tastes good, is fresh and beautifully cooked. And if you’re going for nibbles or a full-blown dinner, then look no further. The service is equally impressive. The staff is very nice and helpful, they always make sure your experience is smooth. The guys at the desk do know how to treat you like a prince. The ambiance is unmatched. It is in the right mood with their stylish look and lights that are just right. It is going to be a fabulous night. And hip hop/club listeners here you go, because you're in for a treat. The DJs really know how to keep the vibe, spin songs that get everyone dancing. LIT 21 is where it's at for delicious food, service, and an energetic night out with some awesome music. Excellent place to have a great night in Newark.

I am from NY and I had the pleasure of going to Lit 21 with my sister and we had an amazing time the food and customer service was at 10/10. We loved Angel she took great care of us very nice , polite and welcoming energy! We had good music, great scenery, the prices were great, unlimited mimosas and Hooka everything we were looking for! So if you’re ever in the area and need a good vibe and food this is the place to go! 10/10 highly recommend.

The Vibe at Lit was good the Saturday night I went. The music was making me feel like staying longer, but I had a long travel ahead of me. It's a perfect spot to unwind and grab something to munch on while enjoying the music the DJ was playing. I would love to go back again and be able to fully enjoy the night dancing. It's a little expensive, but for a single person, it's bearable.

Another great find. The term Gastropub often puts me off as it normally means pretentious and overpriced these days. This was neither. A fairly small pub with a good genuine atmosphere. The Guinness was good, the food was decent in quality and amount and the service from both the barman and the servers was friendly. Price of drink and food was far more reasonable than Manhattan prices. We stopped here on the way to the Prudential Centre to watch the NJ Devils. The football (proper football ie soccer) memorabilia littering the place was great for a footie fan.

Went in for some food and drinks before a NJ Devils game. Staff great. Beer great and food did the job perfectly. Being from London, don’t know how soon I’ll be back to new jerseys but if I am, I would return in a heart beat.

Diner was amazing..small place but service and food both out of world.

BLITZ SPORTSBAR REVIEWS

I was stuck in the area for the evening. I called and talked to Paula and asked if they had access to the Canada/Finland (world junior) game, she said yes. I walked over and watched that game, the NFL game and enjoyed some beer, great food and whoever was in charge of the music playlist. I’m so glad I came by, what a gem!

Fantastic sports bar restaurant in the Ironbound district. The food is amazing and the wait staff and regulars are so friendly. Great place to watch a game.

Walked in for a late night dinner. The salmon was amazing. Great presentation. Will return for the Saturday night light show.
