Amazing children's park for young and older children. Great pirate ships, large tree forts where one can make wolf howls. Nicely padded with rubber and woodchips. Large grassy area with picnic tables all set along the water. Large fence to ensure the children don't go out of the park into the water area. Wear a jacket, it's very windy and cold.

100 City Farm Rd, Newport News, VA 23602

Soccer Field, Picnic Areas, Restrooms, Garden, Shaped Shelter, Playground, Walking Path, Hiking, Biking & Open Area

Handicapped Accessible - 30,000 Square foot community playground in an open area

Sunrise - Sunset

This is a nice, comprehensive park on the peninsula; huge playground ( Fantasy Farm ), garden, dog park, soccer/football field, and reserve picnic shelters. I noticed there was a soccer camp going on here with children of all ages. I like playgrounds that really make an effort to separate the big kids equipment from the little kids equipment, and not make the stuff for the little kids lame. Each age group had their own set of swings and wheel turn.
