McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is an excellent public park located in Scottsdale. It has over 30 acres of parkland, is the unique park of its kind in the country. Visitors can take a ride on the paradise and pacific railroad and the 1950-vintage Allan Herschell carousel. The park has a variety of shops and museums, plays on one-of-a-kind playgrounds, play areas, or just relax in the grass under a tree. The park offer train, carousel rides, and concessions at Hartley’s General Store. McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park has two trestles, a loading platform, a tunnel, two water tanks, a turntable, two crossing signals, and an extensive train shed and workshop.

Chaparral Park is a beautiful picnic spot located in Scottsdale. It has over 100 acres of parkland. The park is a great spot for sports, picnics, and walking. There are two inclusive swings making them the safest way for children with special needs to swing. There is a hidden table under the playground, sound equipment designed for children with special hearing needs, monkey bars, a drum set, a spinning wheel, and a spinning swing make this a unique spot. Chaparral Park has 3-acres of grass, play features, benches, and water fountains.

Eldorado Park is one of the largest municipal parks in Scottsdale. It features 60 acres of green space and two lakes. The park has three ball fields, Classic and modern board games, wedge skate park, ramadas, and a community center. There is a unique playground designed for younger children by the community center. There are two playgrounds for the kids, three lighted softball fields, a soccer field, a full basketball court, and a lighted sand volleyball court.
