BRANDI FENTON MEMORIAL PARK REVIEWS
Large park that includes soccer fields, basketball courts, splash pad, a dog park, and kids playgrounds. The parking is limited and tends to get full fast. It's safe, well-maintained, tends to get crowded, and overall a pretty nice park in town. It's right by the Rillito River walking trails.
Plenty of shade close by to watch the kiddos, decent sized splash pad with a lot going on, placed very close to the playground equipment. Besides the Marana splash pad, this one is my favorite!
Children love the splash pad. Best idea ever. We have an autistic grandson and he loves the water. It was his 10th birthday.

HIMMEL PARK REVIEWS
There are plenty of shade trees and grassy space for hanging out with dogs. The pickleball courts seem to be popular, and there is also a pool (which I have not tried yet.) Dog-friendliness: This is a prime spot for people with dogs! The best time to go is right around sunset.
Playground: They have a few playgrounds and they are all great, decently clean. One playground on the north end of the park for the toddlers needs some updating. Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs!
Great park for walking and never see any homeless or druggies around. I was there last week and the park employee was nice enough to give me a bag to clean up my dogs mess. I forgot to bring one.
