2026 Update: Georgetown Waterfront Park's large stone labyrinth near the western side of the park was designed as a quiet reflection space inspired by ancient contemplative walking patterns. The park's seasonal fountain plaza serves as a centrepiece attraction where visitors gather during warmer months for relaxation and water play. The park has wide pathways that separate pedestrians, skaters, and cyclists from vehicle traffic, encouraging safe recreational movement along the waterfront. It includes river steps and a steel pergola overlooking the Potomac River and was designed to accommodate rowing spectators while also functioning as year-round seating and picnic areas."
