NELLIE'S SPORTS BAR REVIEWS

I just want to shout out Christian at Nellie’s — hands down one of the best bartenders in the city. Every time I come in, he brings great energy, remembers names and drink preferences, and keeps the vibe friendly and fun. Even when the bar is packed, Christian keeps things moving with professionalism and a smile. It’s rare to find someone who can manage a busy crowd while still making every guest feel welcome. Whether you’re a regular or just stopping by, Christian makes you feel like part of the Nellie’s family. Definitely one of the reasons I keep coming back.

My first time here and I can truly say that it was an experience! Let me start with the service - excellent!!!! The performers - I fell in deep like I just met my future best friends!!!! Now the topping on the cake the food!!! Can I just say AMAZING!!! It was so good I wish I could have gotten a tray to bring some home!!! Parking is an issue so I got a ride there and ubered home due to limited street parking. But let me tell you I will be back for my birthday.

FAVORITE SPOT when I want to have a good time!!!! Any day any time!!!! Ask for Christian he’s always behind the bar ! He makes the best drinks! And even lemon drones if you nice $$! This place has great music , FOOD ! YES FOOD! Christian been hold down for a while look for him and ask for him!!! Clean environment and safe environment! 10/10 recommend the bonus is they sections . Love me some Nellie’s.

PENN QUARTER SPORTS TAVERN REVIEWS

We got lucky when we stumbled upon this tavern! We sat upstairs were there was a few less people, a beautiful view, stunning bar top and plenty of tv's to see whatever sport you wanted....yes including the bathroom. The food was fantastic! Our service was so kind to give his opinion about different items when we asked. And not a yeah I've never had it but hear it's good, it was a descriptive this is better or that would be my first choice, he was super knowledgeable and very patient with all of the questions. If I come to DC definitely have to come back here! I highly recommend!!! Plus if it wasn't so dang hot there is tons of outdoor seating.

I was serviced by Chris & believe me when I tell you as my first time experience he made it extremely welcoming, he helped my friend & I so good that we decided this will be our new spot. The food was delicious & the drinks Chris made were amazing. I appreciate the efforts Chris went above & beyond to make my friend & I feel welcome & we will continue to come back. Great Job Chris !! Keep it Up.

YARD HOUSE REVIEWS

Came here for dinner with colleagues. Our server David was amazing and super attentive. He refilled our drinks before we even thought to ask and anticipated all of our needs with such grace. We had the Margarita pizza, Burger, Whiskey Salmon and sides of Onion Rings and Fries. The Salmon was cooked to perfection and had a good crust on the top. They even had a side of the whiskey glaze to drizzle on if I desired. Everything was delicious and they even had amazing sweet tea which you can’t find anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will certainly return.

I had a Happy Hour Birthday Party for my son. The service was awsome, food was awsome and everyone had a fantastic time. The manager was super nice and I had no problems. This location is the best. I use to be a regular at Springfield and will NEVER go back. The general manager was terrible in Springfield. The service is slow in VA. So I highly recommend the DC location. Thank you Hector.

Great food, staff and atmosphere. Visiting from Texas and we got to witness Ovechkin break the goals scored record. AMAZING experience that we just happen to stubble on. Thanks for the memories and much love from Fort Worth.
