The park has several picnic areas and play structures in unique shapes, such as a castle, teapot, pirate ship, pumpkin carriage, train station, and two playgrounds. Birthday parties will be allowed in the park if it is pre-booked. In this park, you can relax, have fun, and do things like eating, playing sports, or taking leisurely walks. The park's seating and play structures are nicely separated along the park. There are some snacks and ice cream at the main entrance for cash. The park is an excellent place for birthday parties, group picnics, little family outings, or just taking the kids for a day of fun. BBQ will not be allowed inside the park.”

“Dan Foley Park is one of the important parks in the GVRD system. The park features a community center, a fishing lake, a natural grass baseball field (with lights), a playground, and a synthetic lighted soccer or softball field. You must get a permit for boating or kayaking on the lake, and the boat ramp opens at 9 am. The entire Lakeview area can also be booked, offering 15 tables and two big BBQs. The park preserves green spaces and natural habitats, contributing to biodiversity conservation and mitigating the effects of urbanization on the environment. The area boasts a beautiful view of Lake Chabot and is near the fishing pier. It is handicapped-accessible but lacks shade and a children’s playground. Off-street parking is available.”
