This is a great park in the heart of Old Irving. The city looks after the gross areas and the lake very well. Lots of different water birds and I see lots of enthusiasts with their cameras around migration times. But there are many swans Canada geese and lots of other ducks all year round. The trail around the lake continues to the south and you can do a five mile loop if you do the whole thing.
This park is so beautiful! Heads up, there are a lot of birds and ducks in the area! I saw different people feeding the animals and these animals are not shy of humans! You will enjoy the beautiful scenery and animals. Definitely worth visiting!
Beautiful park and with a walking trail. Tons of geese, turtles, ducks, and little fishes. Love this beautiful park in a great neighborhood.
