One of my favorite parks in the city! it’s like a oasis in the middle of all the hustle bustle. something for everyone and all ages to do or just sit around and enjoy the glory of the massive Parthenon. It has playgrounds, picnic areas, a beautiful lake and mother nature in all its glory! I think it’s a must visit if you are in Nashville!
Incredible location. 10/10 recommend paying for the museum. WOW. Paintings, sculptures, a massive statue, historical artifacts, and more. I come back every time I’m in Nashville because it’s so awe-worthy…the grounds are gorgeous, free parking all over, easily accessible, and a beautiful destination to spend the day. Very kid and family friendly, but plenty of people enjoying it on their own. Seems to be the perfect location for a picnic on the stairs or in the grass!
Always a great experience wandering around soaking up the sights. I wish I could have caught one of the concerts by candlelight, but definitely will next time around. The lake and scenery are gorgeous, and the Parthenon is of course, just incredible! I got to relax on a bench by one of the statues in the sun and enjoyed the afternoon, relaxing.
