My husband and I recently moved to Las Vegas to purchase our new home. Before finding our new home, we signed a short-term rental lease with a real estate agent/landlord. Per our standard practice, we did our research and hired Ocampo Wisman Law to review all documents as we went through the escrow process. The Ocampo and Wiseman Law team reviewed all escrow documents (for our peace of mind, questions, and to ensure we didn’t agree to anything we did not understand) with success. However, the professional and exceptional service did not end with the purchase of our new home. As we were moving out of the rental, we needed their assistance once more. The house we were renting was being listed for sale during the last month of our lease and the real estate/landlord started to make unrealistic demands for us to show the house to prospective buyers. (For example, asking us to show the house at 7pm on a Sunday evening. To note we did show the property a few times.) When we started to decline the showings outside of normal business hours and requested to reschedule them, the real estate/landlord turned unprofessional. To make a long journey short, Ocampo Wiseman Law was there to protect our best interest from those who work outside the realms of ethical professionalism. The outcome was successful with the complete return of our deposit, and we avoided the need to take legal action in court.
