Southwest Community Center is a 140,000 sq. ft. ultra-modern facility recreation center located in Gainesville. Since 1994, More than two million students have used the SWRC. The center features state-of-the-art exercise facilities, medium-weight dumbbells, a practical workout area with kettlebells, a throwing wall, and benches on the first floor. Their great amenities include a 15,000 sq. ft. split-level fitness space with a personal viewing screen, 14,000 sq. ft. strength and conditioning room, a social lounge with seating areas, a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, and a smoothie shop. The center is staffed with trained Fitness associates and fitness supervisors to ensure the safety of participants. On the other side, there are four full courts and indoor rooms for tennis/volleyball. They afford free orientations for anyone interested in learning more about the weight and cardio rooms.

Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center is a 19,000 Sq. Ft. Indoor Facility center located at Northeast 14th Street, Gainesville. The rec center has great amenities include a basketball and volleyball court, Scoreboard, Concession w/ Full Kitchen, showers, gym, and meeting rooms. They have 800 seating facility for Gainesville residents. They provide plenty of parking and seating. The recreation center offers a kids summer program. They have a very skilled staff who are polite, supportive, and welcoming to all guests. The center provides a lot of professional and advanced opportunities.
