DAVID HEIDE DESIGN STUDIO REVIEWS

We didn’t need a bigger house…we needed a better house. DHDS did a marvelous job of a whole-house renovation/restoration of our 1901 home, scaled properly to a modest Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood. Our team (Chris, Leanna, Pam, David) listened, understood, and paid attention to our needs – they did not impose their “design agenda” but instead worked with us and guided us through the design of a gorgeous, well-functioning home. Highly recommended.

We worked with DHDS on a home renovation that we completed in Oct 2018. We worked primarily with Chris and Leanna, who combined their expertise with our interests, our budget, and the feel/era of the home to design a space that we now live in and love. They helped to make the overwhelming number of decisions manageable for us, and they were kind and responsive to us throughout the whole process. They also had a great working relationship with our contractor. We highly trusted their opinions and are so glad we worked with DHDS!

Truly this firm has ESP when it comes to creating just what the home owner wants. Building or remodeling is a joy instead of a trial with the architect. Mark Nelson is a dream to work with and the end result delights even after 15 years.

DAVID LUND DESIGN REVIEWS

We had a super challenging addition project at the only architect we even considered was David Lund. Our home is a modern home filled with non-square ceilings, corners, walls and we needed to find a way to match the existing lines with the addition we were putting on. David was creative, collaborative, and just plain competent. He pays attention to both the beauty in the design and also the structural integrity. He moved quickly and was super communicative in the process. He truly felt like a partner in the process and instilled confidence in us by making us feel heard with what we cared about and also providing expertise and guidance. The end result of our project is that it looks original to when the home was built in 1979. Absolutely stunning and people let us know. On a personal level, David is just someone who brings quiet light into a room...which is very welcome in home remodeling projects. If we do another project, David will be our only call again.

We really enjoyed working with David over the course of our kitchen and house remodel. He was always available to answer any questions we had during the process and he worked really well with our builder. We appreciated his ability to listen and interpret our ideas for the space and how he created a plan that fit our lifestyle of living. We are really, really happy with the finished product and have already recommended him to friends that are starting remodeling projects of their own.

Very happy with our design and remodel with David Lund! David was helpful and we appreciated all the options we were given during the process. In the end, our space is exactly what we envisioned and David helped make that dream come true for us.
