We've used Brewster Thornton now for 2 projects; our master bedroom addition most recently, and a mudroom addition 7-8 years ago. We worked with Pat Connors, and found that he and his staff listened to what we wanted, and worked with us to fine tune our project according to our needs and budget. When issues came up (as they inevitably will), they were available and responsive, and came up with creative solutions to keep things moving. Both projects turned out beautifully, and we would most certainly use them again.

Brewster Thornton was recommended to us by our contractor and we are thrilled with what the team presented us with. Ahead of the project, we had specific ideas and photos for the interior of our addition/renovation but never gave much thought to what the exterior would look like. Mary and Pat incorporated all of our wishes and must haves on the inside while delivering an outstanding plan for the exterior that truly completed our dream home. We are thrilled with the final product!

JP Couture has guided me through a complete renovation/restoration of an 1810 house in Providence, Rhode Island. JP Couture has a sophisticated aesthetic and years of experience with many types of buildings. He is an expert in the restoration of old homes and he helped me accommodate my modern lifestyle while maintaining the historic integrity of the house. JP is communicative and pays attention to detail. He is a true professional and I would recommend him for any project. I was lucky to work with him, and my house is better for it.

We first met J.P. Couture in Providence RI many years ago, introduced to us by a mutual Designer acquaintance out of Newport who explained to us that he was a young talent and an up and coming superstar. That mutual acquaintance was being conservative. JP is one of those rare talents that everyone wants to be around and work with. The first thing you will notice about his work is sophistication and mindfulness which just barely rears itself to professionals twice his age. He is now a seasoned veteran as evident in his portfolio of finished projects. The super star title still stands.

I couldn’t be happier with the design that JP came up with for my house! He took the time to think about me and my lifestyle and the design reflected that. In addition, his decorating skills are great. He took into account my budget and also made sure I ended up with the final result I was seeking. JP dug behind what I said I wanted to build and helped me achieve something even better than I had imagined.
