Shadowfax Roofing and Solar

Wanted a small local company to do both re-roofing and solar installation (so they'd integrate & stand behind both). Went with Shadowfax because some friends had a good roofing experience with them. And Luke had the best follow-up of the eight different estimators I had out (and seemed very honest & straightforward). They did a great job (with solid follow-through) on all the many interconnected steps (removing & replacing old roof & gutters, installing solar panels & electrical components, getting city permits & PG&E approval, etc...). And Luke overcame some obstacles to get me the exact panels I wanted, all fitting on my limited southern-exposure roof surface, and online before end of year for the tax credit.

We really enjoyed working with the team for both our roof (with skylight replacements and custom insulation) and solar installations!! One year has past and all are performing extremely well. Thank you Jerry for your keen eye for detail and thorough commitment to quality!!

We recently hired Shadowfax Roofing to replace our mother's roof in San Jose. Luke and Jerry (owners) and brothers were always straight forward, fair and clear about cost, and what they would do. It was easy working with them. They showed up right on time on the day they said they will, and finished about half a day earlier than estimated, even though there was unexpected and additional repair that needed to be done.
