CAROLINE'S OYSTER BAR REVIEWS

This pace was great! So good that we went back three times! We always gravitated back. The first time we went I am not sure if it was Robert or Stephen but he had longer dark hair, he was so knowledgeable and guided us to the most delicious oysters we’ve ever had. Danielle was there both nights we went, she was very nice and great at her job. The cleanliness was impeccable. We did have a hiccup with the burger although. The manager was kind enough to take it off the bill. The staff we encountered were phenomenal. I will definitely be back!

This was by far above my expectations when I walked into this oyster bar. Exceptional service with our waiter Anthony, he’s been at Caroline’s since the beginning. And James, at the oyster bar outdid himself explaining the differences in each oyster with flavor profile. Hands down THIS IS A VIBE!!! I recommend sitting at the bar and ordering Caroline’s Oyster Tasting, I promise you’ll thank me.

Went here with a newly acquainted friend for a late night dinner. Got their petite player with eight very fresh oysters, jumbo Shinto’s and some fish. The fish was a bit underwhelming, but loved the oyster and shrimp. Also got the breaded cobia and steamed mussels for main courses. Atmosphere nice. Several booths here as well for more private events.

Romantic date night spot, my husband ordered the fat belly oysters-very fresh, blackened east coast grouper-filled with flavor, the pickled onion and soft crunch grouper were a game changer for him. I ordered the clam chowder-huge clumps of clam and the chowder was perfect for a cold night, Atlantic salmon- salmon was cooked very well however lacked a bit of seasoning for me, the Brussels sprouts were crispy juicy and packed a punch of flavor. For desert we had the banana cream pie- above average but nothing special. Overall, excellent service, flavorful food and quality drinks. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the food, however the service was just ok. Our server was either really busy or wasn't the right person for the restaurant. I saw other servers who were keeping up with their tables and people. We didn't require much but almost had to ask for everything on initial greet. The restaurant was a vibe, the restroom was clean, the drinks were a vibe. Will be back.

We went to Sea Level as part of a restaurant walking tour. We had raw oysters, grilled oysters, shrimp and grits, and a Fish House Punch. Everything was delicious and Mike, the manager, was very informative and helpful. I would love to go back and try more from their menu.

CAJUN QUEEN REVIEWS

The food was really good and flavorful. One thing my husband and I said was you can tell that they make everything in house and with quality ingredients. With this being our first time dining at Cajun Queen it most certainly will not be our last. We had dinner while the band was there and they were fantastic!! From the decor to the staff everything was wonderful. For parking you can choose valet or park across the street and walk over. This is truly a hidden gem.

This is an all-around great place to eat delicious Cajun. The food is awesome and the service is excellent. They do ask about reservations, but the upstairs bar is always available and is a great place to hang out.

Too much good to say about this place. Fried oysters are THE BEST. Service is great, nice atmosphere. We’ve eaten many things on the menu and not had a bad meal in the decades we’ve been here. Great flavor, spice if you like it. Go early or have a reservation. Wednesdays are a good idea.
