This place was amazing. The waiter and waitresses were a big help for recommendations and I felt genuinely wanted you to want to be there if that makes any sense. They didn't rush us. The love music was really upbeat and I enjoyed it. The waiter helped with recommendations on his favorites as well as something we would most like to get out of the kind of food direction I wanted to go. In all very good food and amazing staff and atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I came here because we wanted to try something new! There was no wait to be seated. The hostess took us to a seating area and let us pick which table we preferred. Shortly, our waitress came and took our order for our drinks and within a timely manner we had our drinks and appetizer when we she then took our order to eat. She was absolutely amazing. I wish I had gotten her name! Food was immaculate. Would definitely recommend. Restaurant has a very family/homey feel along with live jazz being played.

Jazz is a fun place! Live music in the evenings and great cajun and creole dishes. Whenever I'm near the Kansas Speedway I love to drop in for their grilled oysters and shrimp creole! The atmosphere is appropriate New Orleans French quarter style. Great for groups or singles. The full menu is available at the bar.

MAD JACK'S FRESH FISH REVIEWS

It's always a good experience when I go to Mad Jack's which is why I travel feigning Missouri to Kansas to patronize this establishment. I'm never disappointed & there's always a nice selection of seafood. From a variety of fish to scallops, frog legs, shrimp, crab legs, lobster tails & more. Thanks for the family meal that I won in the lottery, I was really surprised. We enjoyed everything.

Food was hot and fresh. I ordered the catfish split, fried okra, hush puppies, potato wedges, ocean perch, and some other items. Very friendly staff and the fish fry so was good I had to buy a sealed package of it to take home for another day. I was only in the area to visit but I'm definitely requesting some of their fish fry packs when I come back in town.

Dinner for an AV crew that had been working a long day and just wanted something good that didn’t break the bank & mad Jacks definitely delivered on both. If you like catfish and greens than this is the spot.

Everything was delicious! Fish and Rice cooked to perfection! I favored the garlic chili oysters over the stuffed. Cocktail was amazing! Service was excellent! We went right before closing and still received quality service and didn’t feel rushed! Will definitely return.

One of our favorite places that we frequent in KC. I've never been disappointed & food is consistently fantastic. If you are considering going, you've got to try it. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and can recommend options if you are unsure. Love all the cerviche options.

Fantastic 1st time visit. We will return to try more items but what we had was amazing. So much flavor in all we tried. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly and went so well with the Chipotle Shrimp.
