Do not neglect this little treasure. It may not look like much on the outside, but the food here is amazing and it was hopping at supper time. The sushi portions are pretty large for the price and it is fresh! The curry spice level was right on and had really good, complex flavors, The service here is speedy. The place was packed and we got our food in 15 minutes. The only downside was the atmosphere. It is alright, but if you're looking for a restaurant that wows you with decor and lighting, this is one area that needs a little work. Seriously though, I can forgive questionable ambience for good tasting food. Heck, in some circles, the ambience shouldn't make any difference if the food is this good. Check this place out, you will not regret it.

A1 service friendly servers. Good food cooked to order and fast. Food was flavorful and the right temperature so I was able to dive right in. I got the curry fried rice with vegetables and the egg roll. I was referred to this restaurant by a friend who told me you should try this restaurant you won’t be disappointed and he was 100% right.

Nice clean place with awesome food and great service. Sushi is fresh and sushi rice is not dry. The stir fried udon and pad Thai were also very good.

BLUE SUSHI SAKE GRILL REVIEWS

If you are looking for an easy sushi experience, this place might just be the spot. With a mix of more approachable rolls (like the Philadelphia) to delicious pieces of sashimi to some creative (and dare I say) adventurous in-house rolls - there is something for everyone on the sushi spectrum. There is enough on the menu at decent enough prices to come back a few times to make sure you get to try everything. We really like that the happy hour goes until 630pm - even on Saturday. The vibe is open concept and trendy. It can get kind of loud so if you want a quieter spot this might not be it. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable.

Incredible sushi! By far my favorite sushi place in Kansas City. The rolls are compact and neatly assembled, not overloaded with too much rice. Great size pieces, high quality ingredients and options! South Pacific and Tidal Wave are great cooked rolls. The Godzilla bomb, beach and Spanish fly are excellent! Can’t go wrong here.

Everything was excellent, especially the cocktails (get the Passion Paloma and thank me later) and the charred edamame! Seriously, why isn't EVERYONE serving them this way The truffle salmon sashimi is not to be missed. Happy hour menu and pricing is top tier.

Sushi Mido is a hidden gem! Their $30 all-you-can-eat sushi is an unbeatable deal. They offer a huge selection of fresh sushi, all made to order. If you’re looking for affordable, high-quality sushi, this is the place. Definitely coming back.

Very good sushi, huge selection of rolls, just make sure to go earlier than 2 PM because they close at 3 PM for an hour.
