Sleep Disorders Center of Alabama was established in 2010, and it has a full complement of employees to monitor patients throughout the sleep study process closely. The clinic also employs CPAP specialists that work with patients on all CPAP/Bi-PAP issues. American Sleep Medicine was started in 2007, and it has a 12-bed facility and has performed over 3,500 studies a year. ASM is well-known for being accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and has been since 2008. It has expert sleep professionals who have a goal objective to deliver the advanced level of patient care for both the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related disorders. In lab diagnostic, and home sleep tests are available for diagnostic screening at ASM.
