3 Best Veterinary Clinics in Birmingham, AL

I have absolutely no words to express my gratitude and appreciation to this team! Back story : We adopted our sweet and beautiful cat Rose back in September , she immediately captured our hearts and became a member of our family! In January our vet informed us our precious girl was terminally sick but we could manage symptoms, we did all the things to help our sweet girl including a blood transfusion and daily prednisone. Today 3/22 around 1pm she made a dramatic turn for the worse. I contacted Avondale and without hesitation they offered their support in her care. We took our beautiful girl in knowing it would be her last vet visits. The lady at the front desk was everything we needed , followed by the vet tech and Doctor. They assisted our Beautiful Rose in her transition and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of ladies. We were there after 8pm and they encouraged us to take all the time we needed. They will never know what a blessing they were to our sweet Rose and my family.

Was very easy to get an appointment the next day. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and the environment was clean and smelt great! The nurse and Doc were very caring with my cat and I found the cost quite affordable. I got my 12 year old cat seen for his eye which they gave me drops for and they also gave him a rabies shot all together it was about 75$. We will definitely be going back for a teeth cleaning.

So thankful for Avondale animal hospital and all the work they do- they helped us make an informed decision about a stray kitten (now a family member!) we brought in. We have felt so supported by all the staff (shout out to Payton!) who is helping our sweet girl recover, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

We’ve been using Riverview for almost two years and have always been pleased. One of our dogs had some heart issues and spent two nights at the emergency vet. We were able to get him to Riverview for an echo and found out he had a tumor on his heart. Dr. Campbell was so incredibly kind and gracious with us during such a hard time. He never made us feel like he was going through the motions but was very comforting during very difficult decisions we had to make. While our buddy didn’t make it, we will forever be grateful for the kindness we received from Dr. Campbell. He gave us several options and was able to provide answers to what all was going on so that we could make the most informed decision possible.

We are here more than most. I’ve got senior dogs and they require a lot. Eli gets laser treatment every week. We love the staff and the dogtors! They are all very good to us and always listen to this crazy mama when I’m trying to figure things out.

Allison & Brianne are amazing! The front desk receptionists are very sweet/customer facing. We’re immediately greeted with a smile upon entering the clinics. They are very professional. The clinic was very clean. If I could leave 10 stars, I would. I HIGHLY recommend using this clinic.
