3 Best Steak Houses in Gainesville, FL

My family of 8 came to dine and Liz was our server. Not only was she a great server, she was so personable and sweet. She was always checking on us. She made dinner so amazing. Along with her service, the meals were just amazing. The steaks were tender and cooked to perfection. All of our food was fresh and hot. The staff overall is great, but Liz stood out and went above and beyond. We will definitely be back.

Visit was awesome! Sofie did an amazing job! She knew the menu, was very attentive, and made sure all of my needs were exceptionally met. The food came out fast and fresh. My bone in ribeye was perfect temp, flavorful, and juicy. I will be back soon.

Our group has been to so many outbacks and love the consistency of the food and service Sarah, she took it to a new level. She’s definitely a cut above in the area of customer service and personality that we’ve ever had at an outback. This type of service and personality simply can’t be trained. It’s within someone’s soul.

What a great visit! I had Trey as my server. He was attentive patiently answered any questions I had. I never felt rushed which is an issue I typically have since I dine alone. He also read me very well and realized I enjoyed being left alone. I mean that in the nicest way. I do not like talking, so having to talk constantly with a waiter checking in all the time is not very enjoyable. He took care of refills without me having to ask or interrupting me. It was great! He was still attentive if I need him to be. The food was delicious. The only downside is I was sat right under a speaker and near the hostess stand. The music was SO loud and there was a lot of traffic by my seat. I am autistic and I had to put my earphones in because the noise was unbearable for me. They probably would've moved me if I asked, but they were busy and my problem is not their problem. Overall a great experience! I'm on a self care trip after some hardships, so I really needed it.

My girlfriend and I went here for my birthday and had a great dinner and great time. There was no wait, we were seated as soon as we arrived and didn't wait for service. We ordered French onion soup and it came out pretty quickly and it was perfectly done and absolutely delicious. She ordered the the 8 oz. sirloin steak with a loaded baked potato and asparagus, all of which was perfectly done as well. I ordered the 6 oz. sirloin with shrimp, loaded baked potato and Mac and cheese, all of the food was excellent and I have no complaints whatsoever. Great job longhorn and I will definitely be returning here when I am ready for another perfect steak dinner.

My family and I visited this restaurant for my nephew’s Graduation dinner on 5/30/26, and everyone was so nice! The Manager was so understanding of our large party wanting to sit together and he made it happen! Our server Diego was extremely nice and took great care of us, our food came out fast, and everything was so great and good Definitely would go back! Thank yall for being so good to us.
