Liquid Courage and Sailor’s Grave have become the shop I recommend to anyone looking to get pierced or tattooed. From the first time I walked in their doors everyone was very friendly and willing to talk to me about my piercing wants/tattoo ideas. They are also great about ensuring they are following state codes for their establishment to provide a safe and clean environment. I have gotten a lot of tattoo work done by Johnna and Ricardo for the past few years and have been very happy with both of them. I have also gotten a few piercings from Cassie and have never had any issues with healing. The professionals at this shop all are very informative and knowledgeable about care for the services they provide. I never felt uncomfortable asking them any questions I had when getting services for the first time which I appreciated. I may not get tattooed by everyone in this shop, but I know that each member of the shop is happy to help make your ideas come to life even if that means they help you connect with another one of their artists to ensure you are getting work done that you are happy with.

I had Doug for two tattoos. One small on the wrist and one larger on my ribcage. I've never had tattoos so this was my first experience. When I had my consultation I was struggling to explain my vision and he did a good job of being patient and trying to figure it out. On the day of my tattoo, he did a good job of explaining what it would feel like and communicating if I was okay through the process. He also explained the aftercare process very well. I told him I wanted it dainty and girly and he executed that great. Thin lines, beautiful design. I've already gotten several compliments that it's beautiful not even twenty four hours later. if I ever get another, I'll definitely be coming back!.

I got there early thinking my appt was at 12, but it was really at one, but they were very nice, personable, and told me to sit down and relax. So my tattoo artist, Dawson, Got me in a little early. He was very friendly, Talked to me the whole time Which kept my mind off pain, answered all my questions thoroughly. He did an excellent job on my tattoo. I’ve gotten many compliments already and I just got it on Saturday. He also charged me less than I expected which was nice. I highly recommend Dawson and Liquid Courage for all your tattoos.

John was my artist for my first and 2nd tattoo I had such a great time not only did the tattoos come out amazing he was a great person to talk too he made the whole experience so much better then I could've ever anticipated everyone there was so friendly and helpful. the price was well worth what I got each time I went. I'll be going back as soon as possible.

John did an amazing job reworking and bringing my 20 year old tattoo back to life!! He was super professional and the entire studio was clean and organized...I will definitely be back.
