SYLVAN LEARNING OF ANN ARBOR REVIEWS

My child has attended Sylvan Learning Center for approximately 1 year. Within the first 3 months, the reading level improved from a 7th grade level to a ninth grade level. Since then, a variety of skills have been successfully incorporated to the learning plan including such things as note taking and test taking. Sylvan provides individualized teaching in a positive, encouraging environment. They are incredibly flexible with class scheduling and always cheerful whenever communicating with my child, my husband or myself. The Sylvan teachers are very attentive to my child's educational needs. They provide individualized lesson plans based on objective goals and provide useful feedback to my child during educational sessions. I receive feedback regarding my child's progress during regularly scheduled conferences. Every staff member we have encountered at Sylvan Learning Center of Ann Arbor has been helpful, friendly, caring and professional. I would highly recommend Sylvan Learning Center of Ann Arbor.

Both of our children have used Sylvan for several years now, which is longer than we initially thought, because the programs have been so great! Our children have gained excellent skills in math and writing as well as confidence in these abilities. Our oldest child completed the ACT prep course and only had to take the ACT once to get a high composite score. I'm sure we'll enroll our younger child in the prep course, too. The administrators and tutors are friendly, motivating and professional. They have been flexible with our busy schedules and adapted to our children's academic needs. We highly recommend Sylvan Learning of Ann Arbor!

The place is lovely, very well clean and organice, the teachers maintain a peacefully study place, Stacey, the director, is awesome, very friendly and approachable with our questions, inquiries and progress report. My daughter improved a lot during the 8 months she went for support in reading!!! She was happy to get confidence and started reading a grade level!! I highly recommend Sylvan of Ann Arbor, their system works!!! Thanks you from the bottom of my heart, keep doing an awesome job!!!

KUMON ANN ARBOR REVIEWS

Our kids started Kumon at age 5 at Kumon Westland, managed by Mrs. Renuka and her staff. Over time, we’ve witnessed their knowledge and school performance improve significantly. The center excels in communication, always keeping us informed and engaged. After moving to Ann Arbor, we’ve continued their support for the past 2 years. Students are able to learn concepts in math and reading ahead of time, making it easier to understand them when introduced at school. My kids wish to continue even through the pandemic period, and loved both in-person and virtual classes. I highly recommend this center to anyone considering Kumon tutoring. Thanks for your support!

Best Kumon Center!!! We have moved 3 times in the last 10 yrs and been to 3 different Kumon centers in different states. I would rate this Kumon Center is the best because of the center head (Renuka) who is very friendly, helpful and give each child personal attention to reach their goals. Students are able to learn concepts in math and reading ahead of time, so that when they are introduced to those concepts at school, the students have an easier time understanding them. Truly the best center and highly recommend!!!.

The instructors and staff are noble, intelligent, generous, gracious, enthusiastic, reliable, and supportive!!! Renuka (head of this center) over there actually care about each and every individual. I recommend this center to anyone considering Kumon.

MATHNASIUM OF ANN ARBOR REVIEWS

My student was struggling to keep up and get caught up on her class level math. Having been in K-2 virtual off and on for Math learning she needed professional help in addition to the help she received at her school. Vera at Mathnasium had my student take an assessment then discussed the results with my student and I and told us if the different options going forward if we wanted to enroll. We went with the 3 month enrollment. Our student had started reporting that math was getting easier for her at school within the first 2 weeks. Our student is benefiting from the Mathnasium curriculum.

We have been so pleased with Mathnasium and their work with our daughter. On her recent NWEA national standardized test she exceeded the standard for her grade level and was in the 97th percentile. The teaching, support, enjoyment of math and encouragement she has received at Mathnasium is a major component in her success. Thanks Mathnasium for making math and learning fun for our child!
