“Sylvan Learning of Murfreesboro focuses on building academic confidence, igniting intellectual curiosity, and inspiring a love for learning, all of which make a big impact in school and in life. Murphy Thomas Jr. has been the Director and owner of the center since 2021. He graduated from Birmingham Southern College with a BS in Business. They develop individualized programs using diagnostic testing. The center provides an individualized program for each student based on his or her strengths and skill gaps as identified in the diagnostic testing. Their Directors will conference with parents every month. Teachers work to enhance educational growth and give the encouragement needed to build self-esteem and self-confidence in each student.”
