“Dr. Stephen Savage, a distinguished urologist, graduated from Dartmouth College in 1989 and completed his medical education at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1993. His urology training took place at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City in 1999. Subsequently, Dr. Savage pursued fellowship training in minimally invasive urology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. After completing his fellowship, he assumed the role of director of minimally invasive urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center from 2000 to 2002. Dr. Savage then joined the staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to contribute to the development of their minimally invasive urologic oncology program. His extensive experience in complex minimally invasive surgeries dates back to 1999, and he continues to employ these techniques to enhance the approach to urologic cancer treatment. Dr. Savage has authored numerous articles on urologic cancers and actively participates in various multidisciplinary clinical trials. Currently, he serves as the vice chairman of the Department of Urology and holds the position of director of the urologic oncology fellowship at MUSC.”
