2026 Update: Dr. Philip Fish grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where he attended St. Louis University High School. He earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Missouri, where he also briefly worked in a research lab before enrolling in the University of Missouri School of Medicine to obtain his medical degree. He then completed his residency in urologic surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. Dr. Fish has a strong interest in minimally invasive robotic surgery and received extensive training in this area during his residency. This advanced approach allows for faster recovery times and earlier hospital discharge for patients. He is particularly focused on the surgical treatment of kidney and prostate cancers, as well as managing benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and kidney stones. Having spent significant time in Columbia, Dr. Fish has developed a deep appreciation for central Missouri. He and his wife look forward to continuing their life and serving the community in the region they value most.
