3 Best Veterinary Clinics in Torrance, CA

I cannot say enough good things about this hospital and the staff! I have been using Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital for a little over 6 years now and I have yet to find somewhere that provides an equivalent level of care. When I moved out of the South Bay, I tried multiple different hospitals near me and none of them measured up to plaza! I drive two hours one way to ensure that my dog’s get taken care of. My family now also makes the trek to Plaza! Dr. Child is a very talented veterinarian, who really knows her stuff! I have 5 dogs (all different breeds, ages and temperaments) and she is wonderful with every single one. I’m very picky when it comes to choosing a veterinarian for my dogs. I care a lot about the quality of medicine that is being practiced and I never doubt Dr. Child’s decisions. She is kind, knowledgeable and efficient. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a quality vet. As for the rest of the staff, I love them! Erika at the front desk is always so helpful when it comes to any Paw Plan or appointment questions. The technicians are friendly and do a great job keeping their poise in a very busy hospital! I usually see Vanessa and she is great. You’re bound to have multiple positive interactions at Plaza.

We brought our new 2 month old dachshund puppies (2 of them) for their first wellness check & shots. We signed up for the puppy plan. The vet, Dr. Child is fantastic spending all the time we needed & super thorough. All questions answered, we feel great & plan for a long relationship with this office.

Our cat has been seen by Dr. Rudeen and Dr. Cook. Both doctors and all the technician and assistants are really amazing! You can tell they all love animals. We saw Dr. Cook when our cat stopped eating, and she was very reassuring and called 2 times to follow up to see if our cat has improved. We found the office that we'll keep visiting.
