Vet Specs emergency hospital is hands down the best in the area. Dr. Yelton, Dr Umam and Dr Usechak saved my dogs life. The care they gave to him, as well as their amazing communication with us during his week stay, was outstanding. After a horrible experience at another animal hospital, I was so grateful to finally get the proper care our fur baby needed. I am forever grateful for this team and I highly recommend to anyone who is considering taking their pet there.

I recently had to take my cat Roman here for a GI emergency. I was a nervous wreck, but the staff were so kind and accommodating, especially Dr. Yelton. She made me feel better about the overall situation and helped choose the best care plan possible for my baby. Thanks to the care at VCA West Hartford, Roman is feeling so much better and is back to his normal kitty self!

Thanksgiving morning our kitten was sick and I rushed him to this veterinary office. I had a feeling it would be a difficult day due to the holiday but all of the staff handled patients with patience and compassion. The vets were amazing, Dr. Lauren Engels was our absolute Angel! I am so grateful for the expertise and kindness of the staff here. Our boy is back to his wonderful, wild self and we have this office to thank!
