For the skeptical out there, I was one of you. For years and years I brushed aside my wife's suggestion to try acupuncture for chronic pain in my shoulders and knees (old injuries). Slowly destroying my liver with Advil and Tylenol wasn't for me (and they didn't really help that much anyway). Finally caved and visited Stillpoint. Have seen 2-3 different practitioners there and the results have been wonderful. Am I cured? No, but I can walk normally with near-zero pain, and I can sleep normally without my shoulders waking me every hour. I don't know how acupuncture works and, frankly, I don't care. It has been almost a year since my last shoulder treatment and I am still doing fine. When the shoulders or knees act up, I schedule a treatment or two. PRO TIP FOR NEWBIES: Schedule at least 4-5 visits to experience lasting results. Acupuncture isn't a panacea; it's a treatment regimen and a worthy alternative to gorging on pain meds.

I cannot recommend this place enough for any ailments you are dealing with. I go to Blake monthly if not more than that.. she always fixes my problems. Genuinely comfortable to talk to and explains things so well. I am so thankful for Blake and her caring heart and all of her knowledge and I recommend acupuncture on a daily to numerous people.

I was suffering from neck pain due to whiplash and sciatica. My neck has hurt for over 4 months and unable to look to the left without severe pain. The pain had become unbearable and I was looking for something other than traditional medicine. After my first visit Dr. Grant was able to reduce the pain in my neck and sciatica, I was able to move freely again. I followed up with a second visit and I am close to becoming pain free! I am able to freely move my neck around without pain. I am able to walk without the sharp pain of sciatica. The results in just two visits has amazed me to no end. I wish I had found Dr. Grant 4 month ago. Looking forward to my next visit and becoming 100% pain free. Thank you Dr. Grant for your professionalism and explaining the process and how everything works. If you are suffering from pain I would highly recommend making an appointment now! I saw Rob years ago for my migraines & it was life changing. He has such a calming presence & is so knowledgeable about what he’s doing, you can’t help but feel comfortable. When I moved back to the area & needed an acupuncturist again, I knew immediately I was going to go back to him. He’s been so helpful in just a few sessions with reducing the frequency & intensity of my migraines. The acupuncture coupled with craniosacral work, along with him forcing me to take the time to slow down & relax for the 45 minutes I see him weekly has truly been so helpful. I can’t recommend him enough.

After a year of severe foot pain, I went to Dr. Balkind for an intensive series of acupuncture treatments. My left foot had an impact injury and my right ankle developed plantar fasciitis from overuse. I had tried a boot and physical therapy with limited results. The acupuncture was the breakthrough I needed. Because of my level of injury I did multiple treatments per week. I am having a much easier time walking and continuing to improve.

Rob is the best! First time seeing him and he treated me well with his knowledge, expertise and kindness. I was extremely impressed and look forward to our future treatments.
