CRAVE REVIEWS
The waitress, Tamara, was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the short ribs and wasn't disappointed. Very tender and flavorful. My friend had the b.l.t. made with lobster. Very delicious. We also fried green tomatoes and pierogies as appetizers. Also, the main st margarita was delicious. I'll definitely be back.
Our food was amazing, especially the calamari. Loved the dressing on my salad. Our waitress was sweet, but her service was extremely slow. I'll take that any day though with a good attitude and good food. We loved the old building but the new location is beautiful too, and conveniently located around other areas we frequent.
Went to dinner before seeing the Nutcracker at Akron Civic Theater. Our server Tim was very professional, informative, and friendly! We had a great meal, drinks and dessert! I highly recommend this restaurant and making reservations because they are always busy.

THE LAMP POST REVIEWS
My family wanted breakfast while we were out of town visiting family and found this place based off the excellent google reviews. I ordered the Heeman platter for me and my littles to share, which was plenty for myself and two under three. My son got pancakes, eggs and bacon. We all enjoyed our food and had great service. The prices were reasonable too. I would recommend stopping here based on our experience. Their other menu items looked great and I’d be happy trying our other food choices.
If you haven't been here, ya gotta go. Never been during normal hours, but this is a staple for us after late night shows. Just your typical diner full of comfort. The he-man breakfast platter is a go-to. Even if I absolutely can't finish it. Haha.
This is such a classic diner. Cute little spot and the food is traditional diner breakfasts (I come for breakfast) and the waffles are really good. Pretty small space though so it could get busy, but our service is always super fast.

THE LOCKVIEW REVIEWS
Food was excellent! My family and I went there to celebrate my birthday. I recommend the Lockview Croquettes for an appetizer. They were so good! Half of us got the same sandwich: # 7 Smoked gouda cheese, fresh basil, and tomato on three-cheese Miche bread. It was very good! The fries are hand-cut. We also ordered some drinks. I had the white sangria which was delicious with fruit in it! We were a little disappointed that the patio was not open though. I would definitely go back! What was really neat was that there are paintings on the wall painted by local artists and you can purchase them. How nice to support local artists!
One of my favorite little places to eat in Akron. Great draft list and can/bottle selection of beer. Lots of ones I haven't tried. My burger and fries were fantastic as well as the service. I've been here many times and always look forward to returning. Parking: You can park down the street on University. I wouldn't even bother trying to find parking out front as it's usually taken.
We love The Lockview! Always stop and eat here when in the area. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Danny, the owner, is the absolute best, such a nice guy! Can’t wait to go again!
