CRACKER BARREL OLD COUNTRY STORE AMARILLO REVIEWS

This was my first time stopping in to a Cracker Barrel it was very busy, and customers were all enjoying their experience and having a lot of fun. I loved the old-fashioned store and we had excellent service in both the store and the restaurant. This was a fun place to be families, and kids were sitting outside enjoying the rocking chairs. We loved our meal and had classic and authentic southern fried chicken with honey and fried okra, cornbread biscuits, and classic fried pork chops with gravy. The sweet potato with marshmallows was to die for. The food was eaten quickly, served fast even when very busy inside for a Holiday Weekend and very juicy and flavorful. The spot even has a dirt lot to park a semi truck off the road and bus parking in the back.

Cracker Barrel is pretty consistent across the country, but this location is one of the best. Great food and service along with plenty of parking and amazing gift shop selections. Highly recommend to enjoy a meal here when traveling through Amarillo.

Awesome Family Restaurant has become my go-to spot for both breakfast and lunch, and it never disappoints! The welcoming atmosphere makes it perfect for families and friends alike. The friendly staff is a plus.

Looking for a local great breakfast off the interstate. Wanted a place that would accommodate our 30’ motorhome & 16’ car hauler. This was PERFECT! Our server Hillaria was fantastic. She was quick to table, offering answers to wife’s questions, & quick to refill coffee. I love biscuits and gravy when I travel & they didn’t disappoint. Sausage had a little heat & tasted great. Gravy was delicious & biscuits soft. Ordered a side of country potatoes making my meal fantastic. Wife said her eggs were cooked to perfection, pancakes delicious/fluffy, & bacon just right. Look at pictures to see this grand meal. Cinnamon rolls were free! This is just a short distance from interstate, but 100% worth it. Inside was very nice, clean, & well set up. Staff were quick to clean tables. We got there just after opening & it filled up quickly by locals. That should say more than even my reviews. This place will be our breakfast stop every time we travel through.

Our server was so friendly and attentive our whole visit. I ordered the chicken Philly with fries and everything was absolutely delicious! The fries were crispy and the sandwich was seasoned so well with juicy chicken and buttery, toasted bread. Such great food.

One of our favorite stops every time we come to town. Delicious southern style home cooking! Breakfast and dinner are both good.

You really must try the salmon and get the 8.0 ounce. It’s so delicious you won’t want to stop with 5 ounces. It is cooked to perfection. While you’re there, make sure Enrique is your server. He was serving two functions. He was our bartender and our server. He didn’t miss a trick. Our drinks were excellent. His service was outstanding. Very nice young man. (Tip him well or I’ll come for you. j/k).

I had a Fabulous experience at this location in Amarillo. The Monte Cristo Sandwich and Broccoli and Chedder Cheese Casserole were AMAZING. So were the Complimentary Honey and Butter Croissants. My server, Laurie, was Outstanding, and a pleasure to talk with while eating lunch. Highly Recommend the food, the service and the fish in the aquarium.

This place is fantastic. We're visiting Amarillo and decided to try this place. We were welcomed with smiles and the food was so incredibly good! Our server, Jo, was over the top GREAT! Excellent communication and attentiveness.
