3 Best American Restaurants in Anaheim, CA

Every year, we celebrate our kids’ birthdays by dining at a special restaurant, and this year, we chose The Ranch. This was my second visit to The Ranch, and just as I remembered, it’s an upscale fine dining restaurant. The interior beautifully combines Western charm with luxurious design, and the dim lighting adds a romantic touch. For appetizers, we had fresh scallops that were exquisitely tender and melted in the mouth. Our main course featured perfectly cooked New York strip and filet mignon, paired with grilled asparagus that was both crisp and flavorful. Complemented by the sommelier’s recommended red wine, the meal was simply beyond words. For dessert, the Hazelnut Crunch Bar stood out with its unique flavor and balanced sweetness—it was truly delightful! We were also deeply appreciative of the restaurant’s thoughtful preparation of a fresh mango sorbet for my lactose-intolerant daughter, making her feel equally cared for. The service was exceptional, with great attention to detail and professionalism. Overall, it was another experience that exceeded our expectations and left us thoroughly impressed!

Restaurant is definitely an experience - they have some very great choices for appetizers and entrees. You definitely come here for the steak selection, but also some great choices of lamb and fish. The steaks come in a massive size, specifically the dry aged! Desserts are proper, highly recommended the hazelnut bar. Wine and drink selection is long, can't go wrong with some of the favorites.

Probably the best steak I’ve had, food was top tier, brought out at a timely manner, staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable, atmosphere warm, cozy, intimate setting! I would recommend this place to friends and family, definitely will be back next time we are in town!

I've been here Two times now. 1st time I got the fried chicken plate which was to die for. This time I got The short rib stroganoff... omg the depth of flavor coming off these plates is to die for. This is such a beautiful change of pace from all these cookie cutter restraunts. If you enjoy complicated flavor profiles and enjoy a bar who takes pride in the drinks in which they provide, then u need to stop in and try this place. I love giving props when props are due, and I will continue to try all the items I find appealing on this menu.

The Thai Chicken and Noodles Salad was amazing! The warm butter cake was delicious! Make sure to make reservations. We had an hour and a half weight on a Thursday night however we madethe best of our time together by catching up while waited at the bar.

Service was fantastic. I'm gluten sensitive and they were super accommodating and helpful, and the food and atmosphere were great.
