The Best American Cuisine in McAllen

EST Chickenfried Steak I've ever had, with sausage loaded gravy, great Garlic Mashed Potatoes and delicious creamed corn. Great Shrimp Calzone with thin crust. Service was good, but not as attentive as expected (no followup visit until ready for dessert). No draft beer was a minor letdown.

My husband and I went to Salt to celebrate our anniversary. I was so impressed and touched that they had a congrats card at our table with signatures of their employees. We also each had a complimentary glass of champagne. I love to cook and not the kind of person to eat out often, so this is the one place I make an exception. I always enjoy dining at SPORK, excellent food and service!! I had the pleasure of being treated to a 4course gourmet delight with wine pairing last night on the house.
