PORTSMOUTH SPLASH PARK
“Portsmouth Splash Park is an interactive aquatic venue that offers unique water play experiences. The Parks and Recreation Commission (PaRC) consists of 10 members, nine of whom are appointed by the Mayor from nominations made by the City Council, who work collaboratively with the Director of Parks and Recreation. They focused mainly on water-based attractions like slides, wave pools, and lazy rivers. They are popular for family outings, school trips, and tourists looking for fun and excitement in a controlled and festive environment. The mission of the Therapeutic Recreation Department is to empower their participants to become self-sufficient, responsible, and productive members of society. Portsmouth Splash Park provides information about their youth athletics and recreation programs. The Senior Station is the Hub for Senior Activities with daily activities, weekly trips, or special events; this is the place to be for anyone aged 55 and over.”
