3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Carrollton, TX

My FIL has lived at Briarview for over five years. He lived independently in the cottages and when he needed more care, he moved to the apartments inside. He care for him like family. He is safe from himself and age-related forgetfulness. He has friends and is as involved as he wants to be. I highly recommend Briarview!! Thank you for giving us peace of mind...and Ariel.

My Mom and I have experienced nothing but the best at Briarview Assisted Living. The staff, especially Sharnice and Ariel have been most helpful , kind, and thoughtful. Really everyone goes out and of their way to greet you and help in anyway possible. Shirley, the director of entertainment is continually promoting her great activities for the residents. The staff should be encouraged as they continue to work to make Briarview a comfortable place to call home.

The staff at Briarview Senior Living truly have a heart for service. They treat the residents if as they are their very own family members. I have never walked into the community without being met with a warm, welcoming, friendly face. I have been in the senior living industry for over 17 years, and this community is by far the best I have ever encountered. Briarview is not a facility. It is a community of caring people who truly love our older adults.

We have been blessed to find Sonoma house for mom. She has been in assisted living for almost a year and we are happy with her care. Veta (executive director), Cossandra (nurse), Teresa (wellness coordinator), Adriana (house manager), and all the office staff have been absolutely wonderful!! They have taken our concerns seriously and have always helped to resolve any issues quickly. Mom has also had some of the most loving and kind caregivers that we have ever met. We appreciate each and every one of them. Last but not least, Violeta (activities director) keeps all the residents happy and busy with engaging daily activities and guest singers/musicians, yoga classes, trips, etc. Overall, I would give Sonoma House a 5 star rating.

Sonoma House is a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like a home. Debora and the nursing staff went over and above to help us with our loved one. This is the place that I would want to be if I ever need an assisted living community. Debora has continued to be a great resource and support for our family. Our family member was in bad shape when we moved there and improved so much we were able to move her to another location with more independent care. We recently had an issue that we didn’t know how to handle and Debora was so knowledgeable and helpful. We would definitely go back there when our family member needs more assistance.

The staff at Sonoma has been always very helpful and caring for my elderly mother. She recently celebrated her 101st birthday there and they threw her a wonderful party and brought in a very talented violin player, and everyone had a wonderful time. Its a much smaller more tailor facility than some of the larger ones where you dont get so much individual personalized care.
