When my father faced the difficult transition of moving from out of state to be near me, we knew he needed more than just a safe and comfortable place to live—he needed a community that would offer new opportunities for connection, friendship, and purpose. We found all of that—and more. What immediately stood out to us was the close, individualized attention every resident receives. The staff go above and beyond to understand each person’s needs, preferences, and personality. They don’t just provide care—they build meaningful relationships. My father isn’t just another resident here; he’s part of a warm, attentive extended family. But what’s truly made the difference has been Atria-Stamford’s emphasis on creating connections. From live music, movie nights, and lectures, there’s always something happening. My father has begun to meet new friends and he especially enjoys the live music. His health has been truly supported with the exercise classes and easily accessible gym. It’s been so nice to see him come out of his shell and especially to connect with all of the music, to discover the joys of community life in an entirely new environment. Atria-Stamford has more than met our expectations. My mom is a resident of Atria and she is having an incredible experience. She is happy and well taken care of and she has tons of new friends! The staff have gotten to know her so well and they treat her with kindness and care. They are very thoughtful and encouraging and have my mom enthusiastically participating in so many activities each day. My mom has a new zest for life and so many new friends. It was everything we had dreamed of when we made the difficult decision to have her move into a new home. Her apartment is beautiful and spacious and she loves the bright and cheerful lobby and the outdoor patio area. We are beyond grateful to all of the amazing staff who truly get to know everyone and are so friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I had visited other facilities and came away unimpressed. When we entered Atria Stamford we very much liked the airiness of the lobby and the fact that we were shown around without having to make an appointment. We were impressed with the size of our apartment and the big windows. We have now been here for over a year and like the helpful staff and the friendliness of the residents . And the garden is a wonderful place to enjoy the lovely days. We feel very much at home here.
