3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Waco, TX

Visited a friend last week who was placed here recently. While I did not tour the entire facility, I did get to see quite a bit. The facility is clean and smells clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. My friend' s demeanor seems to be improving since placement here. I observed lunch in the dining room- Fried catfish, slaw, roll, cake which all looked delicious. The facility had a calm and happiness about it that came from the residents and staff ! Hallways and elevator were all in good working condition. The grounds are lovely. From upstairs hallway I could see the residents' raised bed vegetable garden. How fun! My friend 's room was expected and the perfect size and amount of independence.I look forward to future visits.

If you are looking for a memory care program in the Waco area, Brookdale Lake Brazos' Clarebridge Program is top tier. While the facilities may feel a little dated, don't let that fool you. The program for people with cognitive decline is incredible. Claire, the memory care director, is passionate and obviously cares about the dignity and happiness of the residents. This passion is then reflected in all of the staff that come into contact with the residents. I could not be more grateful for the care that my grandmother receives here.

When we knew mom was going to need more assistance that we could provide her at our home we started looking at assisted living facilities. The staff at Brookdale are very kind and engaging, the facility is clean and well maintained. We had a delicious lunch in the dinning room with a few of the residents they were all very sweet. Lisa went out of her way in helping make this all possible with multiple tours, great advice, and unmeasurable patience. I feel very confident that my mom will be well taken care. We are excited to start this next chapter of our lives.

I have had to find a “home” for all four of my wife and my parents, ranging from $6000 to $14,000 per month assisted living, nursing home and dimensia care. The Delaney is by far the best place we have ever dealt with. The facility is beautiful and well maintained inside and out. The assisted living staff is amazing, the food top notch, the nurses so caring, the rehab staff treat these people like their own parents, the help and support is without question born out of love and not just a job. There are daily activities from cards, to ice cream socials, to musicians, hair and nail salons, community fireplace an TV areas, outdoor gardens and rocking chairs. This facility is at the lower end of the price range i described. Mom just loves it at the Delaney!!.

Beautiful surroundings, my friend Dr. Joyce Farwell is so well cared for and has been from the very beginning. Friendly staff--and Latrisha--who we met this last time as we visited--is AMAZING! Not only very good at what she does but she obviously cares for Joyce by creating a real connection with her. She has a great sense of humor and is bright and positive. I'm very impressed!.

The staff at Delaney are like family. They make a great effort at being friendly and accepting of everyone. We love visiting and really enjoy the great food.
