3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Wichita, KS

Mom recently moved to Oxford and absolutely loves it! The apartments are very nice, and the staff has been amazing -- even when she was on the waiting list before moving there! After going on visits to other facilities in the area, we found that Oxford Villas is MUCH cheaper than other independent living options around here. It's in a great part of town with shopping nearby, and they have a shuttle that will take her where ever she needs to go. We feel so much better moving her away from a home with stairs, and now to her apartment. And we like that there are options with different levels of care with Oxford, with Villas being independent living, and Grand being assisted living and memory care. We have visited both facilities, and we are very impressed with the level of care they both offer. We (she) couldn't be happier!.

I am so thankful for Oxford Grand! My dearest friend was in need of memory care. The staff at Oxford Grand made this happen. They have met so many needs for her! They keep the residents busy and interact with them. I have spent a lot of time there, visiting my friend. There has never been a time I have not seen the care staff interacting with the residents. At the same time, they try to keep the resident as independent as they can be. There are so many wonderful, fun activities and programs to help keep them engaged. The staff is always available for any questions, from the care staff to the business staff. My friend has been there for almost 2 months. I feel a great weight taken off of me, knowing she is safe and happy. Thank you, Oxford Grand for your passion for our loved ones, going above and beyond!.

I just finished visiting with Jamie bunch at Oxford Grand getting my mom put on the waiting list for their memory care facility. I got an excellent tour of the facilities and was put at ease with where my mom will be staying. I highly recommend talking to Jamie if you're in need of a memory Care facility.

My mom has spent three months at Park West in respite care after an accident. From Day One, our experience has been positive and reassuring that Mom was in good hands as she recovered. The facility is very nice and maintained well; her room is spacious and pleasant. All of our interactions with staff have been impressive - sales, front desk, nursing, aides, activities - everyone has been attentive, friendly, positive and professional. I have received prompt return calls and responses for every question I have had and quick attention to any concerns. I am so grateful that she was able to recover in a facility so well-run and homelike. I would recommend it, without reservation, to anyone looking for an assisted living facility.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Park West Plaza on N. Maize Road. We recently had to move my parents into an assisted living facility, and we were faced with tackling the task very quickly over the Christmas and New Year holidays. It was an incredibly stressful time for my family, but Sherri and the entire staff at Park West were so caring and thoughtful and helpful, they made the very hard and emotional transition so easy and seamless. Sherri went above and beyond to help us out, taking calls after hours and on weekends, staying late to help us out with questions and helping make sure my Mom could move in on Christmas Eve. My entire family felt so welcome and most importantly, we truly feel my parents are in a good and safe place where they will be cared for. The entire staff has been so helpful also, it was such an amazing experience from start to finish. The food is delicious, they offer wonderful opportunities and activities for residents, and the apartment is clean, roomy and feels like home. And even when I have questions or concerns now, the staff is on top of it and always responds in a timely and friendly manner. THANK YOU Sherri and Park West Plaza!.

Park West Plaza and their staff are amazing! I live out of town and Sherri stayed after work to take me on a tour, personally has organized the transfer of my father in law, coordinated all medical needs and selected the perfect room. Sherri and her staff have made this very difficult transition seamless and easy.
